Cigna
As a front-end developer, I spent multiple years implementing front-end designs for startups and private companies.
While at the dental insurance startup, Brighter, I worked closely with designers and engineers to create a robust dentist search engine with the Angular JS framework. My responsibilities included coding (HTML, CSS, some JS) a complex web application that returned a database of dental providers in Los Angeles. I actively committed to our git codebase, allowing engineers to see and review my code.
After successfully soliciting Brighter’s app to a number of fortune 1000 companies, we were acquired by the healthcare company, Cigna. After the acquisition, we rebuilt Cigna’s front-end search engine from scratch, adopting a variety of contemporary practices and designs.
Our team of product managers, designers, and developers was largely responsible for modernizing Cigna’s search engine for millions of customers.
